10.) Freedom from Jeff Tuel: I bet he is a nice guy but with a name like Tuel, the jokes are just automatic
9.) Freedom from speculation: A decision will be made at Quarterback. The choice between EJ Manuel, Matt Cassel, Tyrod Taylor or dark horse candidate Matt Simms or someone else will be made. One thing I can guarantee you, it isn’t me.
8.) Freedom from blackouts: I won’t give the NFL credit for this. I give the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Bills fans for this. Even with the new blackout rule, it doesn’t matter. The Ralph will be Rockin’ because of all the sellouts.
7.) Freedom from moving away: The Pegulas gave the team and the fans stability. The team will remain in Western New York where it should be for years to come. Thank you Terry and Kim. Thank you. If I had another child (no way) I might consider your names.
6.) Freedom from boredom: No boredom here. The Buffalo Bills have never been boring really. They have notoriously been “cardiac kids” but now there is so much excitement every second of each game should prove to be worth watching.
5.) Freedom from player angst: I am hoping what seems to be true is. The players on this team want to be here. They have a love of this team, this area and these fans. I have faith this love will translate to domination on the field.
4.) Freedom from doubt: Granted, there will be many sports journalists (national primarily) that will still insult and ridicule the Bills. Many will keep saying the team is all talk. I cannot wait to see them eat their words (with some hot buffalo wing sauce).
3.) Freedom from being forgotten: No longer will the Buffalo Bills be forgotten when it comes to powerful teams. Gone will be the sideways mention that the Bills played a game on national TV sports shows. Hello longer clips, highlights and discussion about our team.
2.) Freedom from a disconnected emotionless coach: Rex Ryan disconnected and emotionless? I can think of a lot of adjectives to describe Rex Ryan and disconnected and emotionless are definitely not among them.
1.) Freedom from the playoff drought: Yes, I am making a prediction here but I have faith. The Buffalo Bills will give fans everywhere the best gift this year: a post season.
