An Inside Look at Karlos Williams

Karlos Williams was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the 5th round, 155th overall. Williams comes from a high powered Florida State offense that could score and score quickly. He was a very potent offensive weapon next to Jameis Winston. Karlos Williams is a former safety which means that he is able to turn the corner VERY quickly and get up field. Not to mention, Williams is an aggressive player who is not afraid to fight for extra yards.

In his time as a running back, Karlos Williams accumulated over 1,400 yards(1,419), averaged 5.9 yards per rush which is monstrous. He also scored 22 rushing touchdowns. If the yards per rush average doesn’t excite you, then maybe this will. Not only is Williams a beast in the backfield, he is also a solid receiver when he needs to be. He had 37 receptions for 328 yards. Having an all purpose back could really come in handy when other bills running backs become fatigued from running all over the opposing defenses.

Despite some of the speculation around some of the Florida State players due to the Jameis Winston situation, Williams has and always will keep a level head on his shoulders. He is determined, motivated and will do whatever he has to do to help his team win. To me, Karlos Williams is a team player. With all of the potential that the bills have this season, don’t be surprised to see the bills make an aggressive push for 1st place in the AFC east and the first playoff berth in 15 years.
