During this current offseason, the Bills have made quite a few new additions. Those additions include head coach Rex Ryan, offensive coordinator Greg Roman, defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman, Percy Harvin, Charles Clay, Matt Cassel, Richie Incognito, Tyrod Taylor, Jerome Felton and last but certainly not least, Lesean McCoy.

These new weapons will add a whole new dimension to the Buffalo Bills offense, resulting in a higher statistical production.

Last year Fred "FredEx" Jackson had 141 carries for 525 yards and 3.7 yards per rush. Not as many touches as we'd like, but the offensive line was shaky at times therefore not as many lanes were open for him. On average, it takes 3.33 yards per play 3 plays in a row to get a first down. Jackson gained .37 higher than the average, making him still a pretty productive back.

With the addition of Lesean McCoy, his offensive production will balance out the work load in the backfield. In 2014, McCoy had 312 carries, a substantial amount. He also had 1,319 yards, 4.2 yards per rush and 5 touchdowns. Between McCoy's speed and Jackson's power, this will be a very dangerous duo.

The Bills also signed WR Percy Harvin recently. Harvin had 51 receptions for 483 yards and one touchdown. when Harvin was in Seattle, he averaged 6.0 yards per catch. Once he signed with the Jets and Rex Ryan, his average shot up to a 12.1. Look for Percy Harvin to be a vertical threat with Watkins and Woods.

Once Scott Chandler left for New England, Buffalo had to fill his spot. After pursuing him actively, they signed TE Charles Clay. Clay had more receptions and yards than Chandler in 2014 which could prove to be a very smart move for us.

Buffalo also signed Matt Cassel and Tyrod Taylor to compete with EJ Manuel for the quarterback position. It could either motivate Manuel to improve even more or to take another year to learn from a veteran quarterback. Buffalo Bills also signed FB Jerome Felton.
