Schedule This!

Many have weighed in about the Buffalo Bills schedule for this upcoming season so I suppose it is my turn. Let me start by saying I wouldn't want that job because let's face it, everyone will probably hate you and few will love you.
The first two games will prove to be the toughest. The two positives, however, are both are home games and both are when the team should be in pretty good health since it is in the beginning of the season. I say SHOULD because anything can happen. If a team is going to have really tough games, I would argue it would be good to have them when the team is the "freshest".
The rest of the games through the bye week should be wins for the Bills. The only major challenge there may be the Giants depending on which Eli Manning shows up. I'm not saying the other teams couldn't give the Bills a run for their money but out of all those games the Giants would be the toughest opponent in my little female brain. Although the wildcard in this stretch is the London game. Travel has to be a factor for either or both teams as will the time difference. Let's hope the Jaquars get jetlag.
The schedule after the bye is what many are upset about. Honestly, if you were going to have a hard stretch, I would say the middle of the season is the way to go. If the Buffalo Bills win the games they are expected to (yes yes I know that they should win them all but we have to be realistic) they would be in a good position going into the Thursday night game against the Jets. Then they have a little more than a week until they play the New England Patriots. Those extra days off may prove to be beneficial.
Following the “brutal stretch” of away games, the Bills are home again then away for two then home for two. No matter how hard the games are at the end of the season, the fact that the last two are at home are a huge advantage. As this girl has said as have many others, the fans are the best in the league. We will be a driving force towards wins in the final weeks. The last game we will cheer louder and be even more obnoxious for Rex against his old team. It is just the way. We are loyal. Loyal to our team and loyal to our coach.
The bottom line is no one can predict (easy mediums) who will and will not win. No one can predict who will or will not get hurt. What we can predict is that this season is different. There is more energy and excitement going into this season than there has been in years. That has to count for something.
